Check out our latest advancement in wall mounting LG's G7 without the sound bar. We call this "Picture on Glass on Wall"

This is the 77" G7 Signature Series display only, without the sound bar.

That is just flat-out ridiculous, Robert! :D

It looks wonderful. Besides in-wall wiring is there any other trick to the mounting of that set?

I assume the sound bar is behind the grille below the TV or mounted in an alcove behind the screen.

Thanks for all of the praise on this 1st of a kind unique custom install.

@Mike, yes this was a highly engineered installation. Just one aspect was precisely shaving down the the bottom of the wall opening to give the ability for us to position the sound bar to rest behind the wall. Many other elements were carefully throughout to make this all fall into place.

@Sam, yes all of the HDMI and IP is connected to the 77" G7's sound bar that is behind the wall.

@Edwin, o the G7 the sound bar is permanently attached to the chassis, but it's very slightly offset behind the outer edge of the OLED panel so we were able to plane down the bottom of the opening to accommodate the sound bar behind the wall, while precisely wall mounting the OLED panel to a traditional flat static wall mount. Every dimension was precisely measured and engineered to make this happen.

The wall was slightly built out which gave us room to have G7's sound bar and the equipment rack behind the wall and an access panel on the extreme left side of the wall so we can have access to the equipment and all connections.

We also have a live HDMI wall plate on the left side near the floor so a game console or other source device can be plugged into the system.

The look is very much like LG's Wallpaper TV, but with no external sound bar and the addition of LG's elegant "Picture on Glass" G7 Signature Series design that is flush mounted directly on the wall.

It's about 1/8 thick all around tightly hugging the wall.

This install turned out beautifully and hopefully this will be a peak into the future of how a consumer displays can be designed for modern home use when the client has an external audio system.

For some reason, I keep thinking that the sound bar for that set is separate from the display. Thanks for the correction and explanation on how you guys did the installation. It looks very clean and sharp. Nicely done job.
