hi all, iam planning to build my own dedicated budget home theatre. I have a few doubts. please help me.
my room size is 20*12 feet.
i have decided to buy a denon avr-x2400h av receiver.
i bought a pair of pioneer sp-fs52 floor standing speakers.
i plan to buy a pair of polk t15 bookshelf speakers
i plan to buy polk rc601 ceiling speakers for my atmos
question 1) which will suit me better? pioneer sp-c22 centre speaker or polk audio cs10?
question 2) iam planing to fully sound proof my room with 1 layer of 9mm rubber sheet, 2inch thick 48kg/m3 rockwool and 12mm foam and a final layer of fabric. Is it really neccessary or its a over kill for my sound system? my dedicated home theatre has no windows, but my son's bedroom is 7feet away from my home theatre room sepatrated by a 7feet wide corridor.
question 3) will polk psw125 subwoofer do the job or should i get a pair of pioneer s-51w subwoofer and place in each corner in front. polk sub only goes down to 37hz. pioneer goes down to 26hz. i will be watching movies mostly
thanks in advance
regards,
Bas
