I remember him mainly from his work at 20th Century Fox in the late '50s and early '60s. Sadly, many of those films are not available on disc.

My mom always loved him in everything he did. I remember him best, for some reason, as the the sympathetic animal scientist in Escape from the Planet of the Apes. RIP.

He reminded me of David Birney.

I remember him in the short-lived “King’s Crossing”, which I liked.

Great TV villain, for the most part. He was one of those guest actors, along with Don Stroud, Eric Braeden, James Olson and Paul Richards, where if they were in a show you assumed they were up to no good.

Bradford Dillman appears in countless tv shows—find a selection:

The Alfred Hitchcock Hour (twice)
12 O'Clock High
The Wild Wild West
Mission: Impossible
(twice)
Ironside (twice)
Rod Serling's Night Gallery ("Pickman's Model")
Longstreet (pilot)
Columbo ("The Greenhouse Jungle")
The Streets of San Francisco

I also remember him the Dirty Harry saga as the superior of Harry Callahan: see The Enforcer and Sudden Impact.

He was in so many classic shows - and always gave a fine performance often as a villian

He was good in many TV westerns too, including 'Bonanza', 'Alias Smith and Jones, 'Shane', 'The Big Valley' etc....

and was good in the Gene Barry episode 'The Taker' in 'The Name of The Game'

in 'Court Martial' he played Capt David Young co-starring with Peter Graves as Major Frank Whittaker - two American leads in a British WW2 set legal show - think a forerunner of 'JAG' and a UK equivalent to Gene Roddenberry's 'The Lieutenant'

it had some notable British and American guest stars and the two leads alternated, plus had episodes together - and even opposed each other in at least one episode

the show currently is not but should be out on DVD !

Bradford Dillman was always a class act
