Damn! This is one disturbing movie. It's ostensibly about a 12-year girl and her dog, but it grows into much more than that during its 2-hour course, and this is definitely NOT a movie for children. Intense, suspenseful, violent, and, if you accept its rather fantastic premise (a la THE BIRDS), there is rich thematic material to be had. You won't forget it, in any case.

Yes, I've seen it. Disturbing is an understatement.Talk about your downer movies! If you watch movies merely for entertainment, skip it. But if you want to movies to challenge you, you might give it a shot.
