Pioneer VSX-324-K-P AV receiver (2013) center channel buzz (1 Viewer)

It started happening recently.

It doesn't change volume along with the volume control.

It appears any speaker that's connected to the center channel at the rear of the AV receiver buzzes/hums and produces no sound.

Any idea what could be causing it?

Did you swap out the speaker cable when you tested all the other speakers on the center channel output?

Did you swap out the speaker cable when you tested all the other speakers on the center channel output?

I simply disconnected the left speaker and its cable and connected that to the center channel and the left speaker started to hum, so I believe it's the center 'port'

What type of AVR/preamp? Most modern equipment has built-in room correction software that can help with diagnosing this sort of issue.

Turns out the AV receiver was broken.
