Yeah, I read that on Bill Hunt's site and I'm excited to buy that 4K/3D release as I watched this film 3 times in a movie theater.Am I imagining this?! A 4k/3D release?!
What alternative reality have I woken up into?
Wow. Thank You Fox!!!
I do know that Fox, prior to the closing of their acquisition by Disney, was really pushing theatres to play this in 3D.Am I imagining this?! A 4k/3D release?!

It does to a lot of us here so I’ll be cancelling my UK version and going with this one which will be $30-35 on street date. That’s a bargain as I would have purchased both separately.. No digital version, though, if that means anything to you.
No home system will but it’s better than nothing right?I will definitely order this. But after seeing this in IMAX 3D and being blown away, I'm afraid my system will not do it justice.

Funny how he couldn't use that power to get us a domestic 3D of T2. But I guess he's not working for that studio any more, so they don't really care about keeping him happy.I suspect "thank you, Jim Cameron!" is probably more accurate!
This won’t be one of Amazon’s truncated releases, will it?

I don't get why they wouldn't just use the ATMOS mix on the 3D and standard discs and save the trouble and cost of a different codex. It is not like the ATMOS mix is incompatible with standard Blu-ray discs. Why not standardize the audio codex across all the BD formats and quit futzing around and acting like including it on 4K but not on other discs is some sort of incentive to upgrade.
It isn't any deal breaker for me but, to me, it doesn't make any economic sense to be including a different codex on two discs when it could just be standardized.
