I just saw this wonderful documentary about the California sound in the 60's. Jakob Dylan stars and he interviews many of the members of the Byrds, The Beach Boys, The Mammas and the Pappas, and Buffalo Springfield. Other notable musicians interviewed included Ringo Starr and Tom Petty.

Not yet that I've seen, but I assume one will come in due course.

Thank you for posting, @Wayne_j. Glad to hear it's good. It's not here yet but my arthouse has been promoting it heavily and will open it in July, so it appears to be expanding slowly and deliberately.

Any Blu-ray release would probably be in the fall after it is completely done with its theatrical run.

My arthouse finally opened this yesterday.

I saw it today and I thought it was great. The theater was almost full, which was nice, and everybody seemed to love it. Incidentally, was the youngest person there by a lot.

Personally, I was more interested in the interviews and vintage clips than the performances of the songs by current artists, which weren't bad but weren't what I came for either, if that makes sense.
