We tried a trial with Acorn streaming to watch Murder is My Life, which is pretty mediocre. However, we ran across Line of Duty which is outstanding. It is very British but fortunately they didn’t bollox up the job.
The premise is a police unit investigating corrupt cops. I get the feeling that I’m watching a real police department. There’s gaming the system with statistics and portrayal of some of the mundane aspects of policing. The plot is complex and often unexpected. It looks like each season will cover one case.
Script and acting outstanding.
As RAH would say, highly recommended. I guess will be subscribing for a while. There’s at least 5 seasons, and seasons are 5-7 episodes.
