I just bought a pair of Logitech Z130 computer speakers today, and there is a buzzing noise. As I turn the volume up, the buzzing gets louder. What could be causing this ? Any troubleshooting advice ?

Thanks.

As I move the wires around the buzzing stops. There are so many cables I don't know what could be causing this. We have our computer tower, monitor, printer, the 2 speakers, modem/router combo.

What would be the most likely cause?

Thanks.

It may be one of the devices nearby is emitting some signal noise which the speaker wires are picking up. I once had a pair computer speakers that would buzz when anyone within a certain range was about to receive a phone call.

Could also be that the circuit isn’t fully grounded.

Yeah, I dunno. Could just be a defective bit of wiring too. I’d probably try to exchange if it were me.
