Another recently purchased HD Digital on my part that now gets a Blu-ray release.

Don't think I ever saw this. Worth a blind purchase? TBH, it may make a better digital purchase than BD at this point pending on price difference.

I'm a fan of this film ever since I first watched it in a movie theater. I love "heist" movies and this one is well written with twists and turns along with a wonderful cast.

This film is known for the quote spoken by DeVito's character, which Robert Ebert said is the funniest line Mamet has written (and many argue about): Everybody needs money. That's why they call it money.

But my favorite line, and one I use myself, is spoken by Hackman's character: I tried to imagine a fella smarter than myself. Then I tried to think, "what would he do?"

I decided to forgo the Blu-ray and buy this on digital today.

I am purchasing far less disc product in favor of digital counterpart.

I really, really enjoyed this movie. As Martyn indicates above, there are so many surprises and it has such a great acting ensemble.

Delroy Lindo is one of my favorite character actors. For some reason, I thought he recently passed, but it looks like he's still going strong.

Great film! Buy it on Blu-ray or digital but SEE IT!

I'm so happy you enjoyed this movie. It's a personal favorite from 2001 with a great cast and dialogue.

Yes, absolutely!

But what really pissed me off and kind of ruined the ending...

His wife left him for that dope. That is, unless that was fake as well and she was coming back

They left that ending for your interpretation.
I have to believe his wife is too smart, but whatever.
