I'm a long-time lurker, but decided to join up because I am undertaking my most ambitious project yet - dedicated space for front projection. I've been working in the PC industry for more than 30 years with the last 20 or so specializing in graphics hardware (STB Systems, 3dfx Interactive, Compaq, ATI Technologies, AMD), but my younger studies were in film and TV with a passion for visual storytelling. I have several expensive hobbies and put more resources into fast cars than into Home Theater, so I've had to make due with what little I could afford while trying my best to recreate that cinema experience. Consumer hardware has come a long, long way since I saw those first CRT-based HDTV prototypes in our graphics lab all those years ago.

I hope I can contribute as much as I receive. Thank you for letting me be a part of your community.
