For anyone who has Kino's Pioneers: First Women Filmmakers set, this and Volume Two are basically "add-on" volumes. When the set was prepared, there were still a lot of films available that simply couldn't fit within a single set. Guy-Blache's films are a real treat if you're into early cinema. That period isn't for everyone, even those who love silent film, but they're among the most entertaining of that period that I've seen next to Georges Melies.
