Browser Issue on I mac (1 Viewer)

Ok , So I am trying to make youtube video from my iMac using the built in webcam. I am getting an error stating that Safari does not support Webcam streaming. I Tried this over a year ago and got the same. I have done updates when software has changed. Is Safari

So if I am sitting at my desk trying to use my Mac to film a video, it wont work?

Why not? It has a camera. Just need to find an app that supports the iMac camera.

So that will work even though I am getting a message saying that Youtube Does not support Webcam video via Safari? I was invited to download Chrome which I am not downloading on my Mac

I don’t know anything about live-streaming in a browser to YouTube. Google isn’t especially good in its software support of Apple hardware.

there appear to be lots of apps for streaming from iOS so maybe that would be easier to figure out than macOS.
