Enclave announces WiSA and THX Certified wireless surround systems

Enclave Audio has announced two new wireless home cinema speaker systems within the CineHome product portfolio, namely the WiSA Certified CineHome II and CineHome PRO, as well as a CineHub wireless transmitter.

Enclave says that the wireless capability means setup of the CineHome systems is quick and easy, but also promises “unmatched audio performance.” The speaker systems include three wireless fronts, two rears, plus a sub. Both systems can also be bundled with a CineHub or configured to work with any WiSA Certified transmitter or WiSA Ready devices within the ecosystem, which include 2019 LG OLED and NanoCell TVs. The systems operate on a discrete wireless network exclusive to the audio system itself, therefore preventing latency, lag, or interference which can occur with other wireless devices operating in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency bands. There is also “less than one microsecond” of synchronization between speakers.

Some of the features of the CineHub include 5.1 Dolby Audio, 5.1 DTS, uncompressed PCM, analog inputs, as well as eARC, ARC, optical and Bluetooth support. When bundled with the CineHome PRO set, the Enclave CineHub becomes a full THX Certified and WiSA Certified home theater system.

“Enclave is the first speaker company to bring the powerful combination of THX Certification and WiSA compatibility to a 5.1 wireless home theater system. Each year, we see video technology improve – from HD to 4K to 8K and beyond – but audio technology has been lagging. With the explosion of consumer access to multi-channel audio content, we are planting the stake to say our entertainment deserves immersive audio,” said Rob Jones, CTO for Enclave Audio. “We’re restoring the integrity of the home theater experience by delivering customers their favorite movies, shows, games, and music, the way it was intended it to be heard, without the complicated installation processes of the past.”

The CineHome II speaker set starts at $999.99, while the CineHome PRO comes in at $1,499.99. The Enclave CineHub starts at $149.99 but is $99.99 when bundled with either of the above speaker sets.
