MantelMount introduces robotic TV mount

MantelMount has introduced the MM860 robotic TV wall mount which includes both drop down and swivel movement functionality. The mount is Smart Home Ready and enables a TV to drop down to eye level from, say, above a fireplace, for more comfortable viewing.

The system is compatible with Control4, Crestron, RTI, Savant, Logitech and URC home control platforms, and the mount can also be operated via an included RF remote and Infrared remotes from both Logitech and URC. The patent-pending tech allows the unit to lower and swivel in a fluid, seamless movement, and a power-sensing feature detects when the TV is on and automatically lowers it to a determined preset. A temperature sensor will automatically raise the TV if, for example, it is in front of a hot fireplace and the room is unattended.

The MM860 comes with a steel housing to conceal the lifting arm in raised position, and the mount is identifiable on a network and configurable via a browser. The latest software and firmware updates can be applied at the time of installation.

Further features include multiple memory presets, power loss recovery, vertical and horizontal travel limits, cable management and the unit’s own onboard computer. The mount comes in at an MSRP of $1,999. If you want to learn more, visit the  MantelMount MM860 product page.
