Paradigm to release Millenia LP Trio Soundbar

Paradigm has announced the Millenia LP Trio 3-channel passive soundbar (to retail at $999), which features left, center and right channels combined into one 48-inch cabinet, making it an “ideal match” for 55-inch TVs. It also measures less than 2-inches deep when installed.

The new soundbar includes three S-PAL aluminum dome tweeters with a patented PPA (Perforated Phase Alignment) lens technology and six anodized aluminum unibody cone bass/midrange drivers. A rigid, mineral-filled ABS cabinet is sealed and has three sets of low-profile push style binding posts, and the speaker’s frequency response is 160–21,000 Hz (115 Hz DIN).

The Trio includes a low profile wall-mount bracket, but for freestanding configurations there are two L brackets with adjustable feet so it can sit independently on a shelf. There is also a magnetically attached black grille, polished black accents, and a brushed black aluminum faceplate.

Paradigm says the speaker’s high frequency drivers improve on response, detail and soundstage width due to the adoption of the PPA lens, while also sporting S-PAL satin-anodized aluminum domes, high-power apical formers and extruded aluminum heat sinks. The bass and mid-range drivers, meanwhile, are high-performance S-PAL satin-anodized aluminum unibody bass/midrange cones, with nitrile-butadiene rubbber surrounds and apical formers.

The Millenia LP Trio will start to ship in early November 2019. More information is available at Paradigm.
