Parasound makes personnel changes

Privately-owned San Francisco-based home theater amp maestros, Parasound, have announced a couple of personnel changes to its top team. The company has appointed Joe Finn as Regional Sales Manager/Marketing Manager and promoted Phil Jackson to Director of Sales. A series of quotes from their announcement follow:

“We are delighted to welcome Joe Finn to the Parasound team,” said Richard Schram, Parasound President & Founder. “Joe’s customer-driven focus in sales, marketing, and training will attract and cultivate new customers while expanding our support of existing customers.” Prior to joining Parasound, Finn held regional and national positions with NEAR, Control4, Definitive Technology, and Velodyne Acoustics, among others.

“I’m excited to join one of the finest brands in high performance audio,” said Finn. “Over the years, I’ve observed how Parasound has endured during good times and bad by forging close relationships with dealers and distributors. It is truly the gold standard for end-user support.” Reporting to Phil Jackson, newly-appointed Director of Sales, Finn”s primary responsibilities are for Parasound’s sales representatives in all territories, dealers and distributors east of the Mississippi plus international distributors. He will also contribute to further development of Parasound’s marketing and sales training.

“We are also pleased to announce Phil Jackson’s promotion to Parasound Director of Sales,” continues Schram. “Phil is a master bridge-builder to our dealers, distributors, factory representatives and end users. Phil has fueled our growth with new accounts, fine-tuning our rep network, providing outstanding pre- and post- sale assistance to Parasound customers and established strategic relationships with collegial audio brands. His 30+ years of industry experience is evident in his outstanding customer and dealer support. Phil plays an important advisory role in our deliberations about new products, making them increasingly relevant and successful.”

Parasound has arguably the finest price/performance ratio line of home theater-dedicated amps available anywhere, and its Halo offerings deliver spectacular dynamic range and power.
