SANUS announces décor-friendly TV mounts

Some of you may be aware of SANUS and its quite reasonably priced racks designed specifically for home theater – rather than server and power management – applications. The company has now introduced a new series of TV mounts intended to be décor-friendly for the home. The company says that the look of the new mounts was inspired both contemporary TVs and high-end kitchen appliances.

The mounts are known as the Advanced Full-Motion Premium TV Mounts and include a brushed metal exterior, with both a ‘FluidMotion’ design and ‘Steady Set’ functionality. The former promises an easier way extend, tilt and swivel a display regardless of its weight or thickness, while the latter ensures that the TV stays in its position without drifting or shifting. The company also says that installation should take no more than 30 minutes.

You can order in two different finishes: a brushed stainless black with charcoal trim or a brushed stainless silver with black trim. The mounts will enable placement closer to the wall than other competing systems due to a lower profile depth. Furthermore, the SANUS puts emphasis on the “ultra-strong” steel frame for maximum support.

“While flat-panel TVs have continued to dazzle with ever-slimmer, more streamlined designs, mounts have retained their status as infrastructure equipment to be hidden out of sight,” said Jim Mugge, Senior Product Manager at SANUS distributors Legrand. “With the introduction of the SANUS Advanced Full-Motion Premium TV Mounts, our aim is to change that. These mounts are the first of their kind, with a sophisticated design that complements any room, while offering the advanced functionality that defines SANUS.”
