SVS announces five-city ‘Night of Sonic Thrills’ events

SVS is bringing “immersive, heart-pounding sound” to five U.S. cities, starting tomorrow in San Antonio, TX, as part of a new event series billed as ‘Speakers and Subwoofers Unleashed: A Night of Sonic Thrills with SVS’. Each event will be hosted by an SVS dealer and feature home theater and hi-fi system demos, prize giveaways, and SVS President Gary Yacoubian sharing insights about audio. In addition to San Antonio, the full list of cities selected for the events are Kansas, Omaha, Dallas and Portland.

SVS employees and dealers will share knowledge at each event on home audio technology interspersed with music and cinematic demos emphasizing elements of sound in “Experience Zones”. Each zone will represent a different system and highlight different SVS speakers and subwoofers, according to SVS, including the Prime Pinnacle tower speaker, the well-received 3000 Series subwoofers, Prime Wireless Powered Speaker System and SoundBase.

One attendee at each event will go home with the grand prize giveaway, a $2,000 SVS Prime 5.1.2 speaker system with Dolby Atmos enabled AV receiver, as well as other prizes.

For people who can’t attend, the events will be broadcast live on the SVS Facebook page with a separate SVS giveaway for those who tune in and leave a comment.
