Technics announces noise-canceling headphones

Technics has announced the June 2020 release of the EAH-AZ70W wireless headphones with noise canceling capability. The company claims the phones combine “superior” sound technologies with a compact size and lightweight design.

Enhancements include a newly developed dynamic driver using a graphene-coated PEEK diaphragm with 10mm diameter and acoustic control chamber for optimizing airflow generated from the driver unit while creating a clear and “vast” sound space. The PEEK material enables greater transparency, plus high-pitched and clear middle sound ranges. The airflow generated from the diaphragm can be accurately controlled via the original acoustic control chamber on the rear part of the driver unit.

The EAH-AZ70W headphones are also equipped with Dual Hybrid Noise Cancelling Technology with digital and analogue controls working together to minimize noise inside and outside the headphones to create a more immersive experience. Meanwhile, a compact body with touch sensor and Bluetooth antenna allow for connection stability and compatibility with smart devices, plus improved voice transmission for phone calls. The touch sensor itself enables switching between ambient sound mode, noise cancelling mode or ‘off’ to adjust the listening experience based on preference or environment.

The new molded earpiece phones phones will be available in black or silver with a matching charging cradle (which can fit into the palm of the hand). The battery provides for six hours of continuous playback with noise cancellation turned on, while the charging cradle battery allows for 18 hours. For more information, visit Technics.
