The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

The Specials

–BOTH Best Buy & Target, this week, are advertising STEELBOOK PACKAGING with their 4k/UHD copies of Terminator: Dark Fate.  The metal comes at a premium as the releases are priced $5 higher than the standard release—at $34.99.

HERE IS A LINK to “Deals on TV Shows and Movies” at BestBuy.com.

–Target this week has an EXCLUSIVE Blu-ray release of Harriet…which includes an O-card.  Now I have NO idea what an o-card is.  But Target.com describes it as “exclusive collectible packaging art.”  Maybe it’s a fancy name for a cardboard sleeve?  No premium here, however, as the EXCLUSIVE release is priced th same as the standard Blu release ($24.99).

–Target’s Weekly Ad is available at THIS LINK.

Hello RoundUppers!

Not the greatest quantity of titles this week...but some quality stuff.

I'm pre-ordering (as a blind buy) Parasite. I've GOT to see what that's all about.

Safe shopping! :D

I haven't seen Fail-Safe since it was shown at an all school assembly at my middle-high school back in the mid 1970s.

Thanks, Mike!

Parasite and Harriet for me eventually. February is going to be so stacked I'm not sure if they'll be right now or later, but both are fantastic.

O-cards are industry term for slipcovers. Will get Terminator on 4K when the price drops, that's too close to laserdisc pricing right now and Paramount isn't a struggling company run by film lovers who need the money.

An Early Bird RoundUp! Congratulations, Mike!

Some good releases this week. I do want to eventually pick up Bell, Book, and Candle since I missed the Twilight Time release before it sold out.
