The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Wow! What a week for home video releases...after some other big titles in recent weeks!

Someone will always step up to the plate to prove me wrong, but I'd be surprised if this isn't a big week for many HTF members in terms of new content. Lots of great stuff coming out!

Have fun everyone! And, safe shopping!

And thanks for checking in each and every week! :D

Thank you, Mike!

The non-anamorphic DVD of Cats was the first DVD I ever bought back in 2001. I've been waiting for them to put that out on Blu-ray because the DVD looks like crap by today's home entertainment standards.

That being said, there's so much else coming out later this month that's more important to me that I feel like at this point, I've already waited so long that I can probably wait a little bit longer for it. If it were coming at a less crowded time of year it would be a release date purchase for me, but the following week has The Peanut Butter Falcon and the soundtrack for Frozen II. I'd rather have those right away.

So nothing for me this week, but Cats eventually.

Apart from the wonderful Resurrection, it's an off week for me, too.

Thanks for your work on the RoundUp, Mike.

Nothing coming out this week for me, as I am taking advantage of the B&N sale. This time they have Arrow and Cohen, as well as Criterion's at 50% off.

Jeesh. It doesn't need to be unanimous, does it?!?

Well, I have Hobbs & Shaw 3D on pre-order from Germany, and will likely pick up Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark at some point.

Well, I did say I would pick up Cats at some point too. Just saving for next week. There's a tiny little indie release then you might not be aware of called the Frozen II soundtrack, which is more important than any Blu this month. ;)

The in-store piece to this is likely too much for me to pass up... :(
The Online pricing can be extremely wonky ... I found several $39.99 list price Criterion blu-rays for $22.99 ...

True. On the 4k's I was looking for, the price was $29.99 no matter where I looked.

I did pick up Lion King 2019, Aladdin 2019 and Toy Story 4 last night. There were zero Pixar 4k's in the store (the catalogue titles which were released) when there were a healthy amount earlier in the week. I can't believe they all got sold...maybe they're being hoarded for tomorrow's Disney animated releases or Black Friday.

My copy of The Art of Racing in the Rain arrived today from Amazon and it makes me feel quite happy knowing that I have taken ownership of what I will probably think of as the best film of 2019.
