It’s not, it’s from the VistaVision elements. They made a 70mm print from the digital files.

I was only a booth like that one time, but it was in a gutted building so there was no gear. My favorites were the ones that were like a concrete bunker with the nitrate fire shutters still intact. 😀

This is correct. Having been a projectionist in a few places with a large down-angle, keeping focus even across the entire image was sometimes a problem in addition to the geometry. Now, in this case, The Searchers is 1.85 flat so the distortion may not be as noticeable as it was with 2001...

Nice venue, but their 70mm projection is at a severe down angle (at least it was for 2001 a few years ago) if this is in the main auditorium.

Well, this film isn't PD so if it's not by Studio Canal or another licensor, then it's a bootleg stream. Amazon has been loaded with them for major studio titles, too. They've cleaned out a bunch I used to see, so maybe things are getting better. I never heard of CEA Studios.
