Naim Audio has introduced a free TIDAL Connect software update for its streaming players and systems. The streaming platform can be accessed via the TIDAL app, but owners can also use core TIDAL streaming functionality via the Naim App, if preferred.
The 3.7 firmware update (available to download direct from the Naim App) for players such as Uniti Atom, Uniti Atom Headphone Edition, Uniti Star and Uniti Nova systems – as well as the ND5 XS2, NDX 2 and ND 555 dedicated streaming players – is available now. A matching update will come available for the Mu-so 2nd Generation wireless speakers.
“It’s great to offer Naim owners yet more music options via this free upgrade, with even more functionality to come from our scalable streaming platform”, said Paul Neville, Naim’s Research & Development Director.
