comScore Announces Official Worldwide Box Office Results for Weekend of September 4, 2016

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- comScore (NASDAQ: SCOR) today announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of September 4, 2016, as compiled by the company's theatrical measurement services.

comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Paramount's 'Star Trek Beyond' beamed up an out of this world opening of $31.3 million inChina for an overall international weekend of $37 million in 40 markets, thus propelling its international total to $131.1 million and its global cumulative to $285.3 million."
