There seems to be some debate as to whether the 1080p/24fps being output is source direct or processed. Additionally, some users are reporting an audio lag after updating. I've been anxiously awaiting this firmware update as I have a 24fps-capable display, but I think I'm going to take a more cautious approach with this update. I may let things "shake out" a bit before applying it.

It has been confirmed that it is true 1080p/24. However there are some issues related to which tv, receiver, etc. that a person may use. I assume that as these issues are reported to Toshiba, they will refine the process in later updates.

I updated my XA2 last night with no problems. When I tried to play "Spartacus" it would not work. A reboot solved the problem.
