JVC reveals 25th anniversary limited edition projector (1 Viewer)

JVC commemorates the 25th anniversary of its D-ILA imaging device with a limited edition projector (reference Ronald Epstein’s earlier thread here). The DLA-25LTD ($29,999.95, available in December) can achieve a claimed native contrast of 150,000:1 and has a special exterior design and other bonus features to commemorate the anniversary. Only 25 of the special models will be offered in North America.
Some of the cosmetic features of the release will include a silver chrome-finished center plate engraved with a logo and serial number, and a lens ring made of anodized silver. Furthermore, the 25th anniversary logo is displayed when the projector is turned on, and a commemorative plaque containing a D-ILA element and engraved serial number is presented separately...
