What I meant was that the number of second hand records is enormous. All those collections collated during the 50s, 60s and 70s by people who are no longer with us and whose children are dumping them onto the market. Those today who choose vinyl and who do not restrict their enthusiasm to modern pop music have a very large choice of material.The second hand market is still niche so I wouldn't classify it as huge.
As a person who buys records, I agree. I could be wrong but I think that vinyl is a bubble that is going to burst relatively soon. Much like DVD/Blu-ray/UHD, there are die hards who will buy physical until the last one is manufactured (I'm one of them) but the days of even Taylor Swift moving hundreds of thousands of records aren't going to be around much longer.That doesn't mean they buyers aren't niche customers.
