Within all the drama regarding the dueling releases (I may end up with both, if only for the Synapse cover with the poster art), I picked up an interesting possible hint towards the VS release on a Facebook post that Lee James made to the "Official Vinegar Syndrome Fan Club" group regarding finding a cut/material which had not been included in prior releases.

So, while the Synapse release is already out now on blu ray, the VS 4K release may include multiple cuts of the film. Seems like this may be of interest to people who have avoided the movie due to Vibenius' use of adult film inserts, shot after the rest of the footage.

There are only a few of us on here that seem geared towards a lot of the exploitation film genre. Further discussion of this is that the director didn't just add those extremely adult shots, it was the original intention so that the degredation would be so bad that explains her going into revenge mode.

I definitely am a big fan of exploitation and grindhouse, but there's a reason Ms. 45 has been on my shelf for a long time, waiting for me to be in the right mood to watch it. I don't blame anyone for not being big on this kind of flick. But I think given its influence (if only on Kill Bill) and its importance to the cult film pantheon, I'm glad its getting the kind of treatment that it is.

VS put out an update on their preorder for the title (which was announced along with a 4K of Cloak and Dagger and MIAMI CONNECTION) and they said they were already over half sold out.

Also, their site confirmed the inclusion of the R-rated American cut in 4K on a separate disc: They Call Her One Eye.
