John Milius' Dillinger is an interesting film, with a terrific performance by Warren Oates. There's a great deal that it has in common with Arthur Penn's Bonnie & Clyde, which came half a decade previous, and with a far higher budget. One could almost look at Dillinger as a sort of homage...
