Always a fan of Blue Underground's releases, I'm thinking that something may have gone amiss in the final mastering of this otherwise impressive set of discs, as it was struck from the OCN in 4k.
Overall image stability, grain structure, both fine.
Color is problematic, most disturbingly in the first reel, which looks almost as if an initial color correction ended up as final. The color is flat, and lacking in chroma, black levels, et al.
That aside, for any collectors of the compleat works of George Romero and/or Dario Argento are going to desire this set, whether color is eventually corrected, or not.
Three discs inclusive of a disc of extras, as well as a soundtrack
CD.
Image – 3.25
Audio – 5 (DTS-HD MA 7.1)
Pass / Fail – Pass
Upgrade from DVD – Yes
