Why have we never seen Black Tights (1961) released in bluray? It was a great 70MM film, I would love to have a BD copy! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053726/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
Thats a real real shame!Because the elements have decayed and there is no likelihood of anyone paying vast amounts of money to have them restored.
Being a major Cyd Charisse fan, I'd love to have this film on a really good Blu-ray disc but I don't expect ever to have the chance. There are two DVDs and both are very bad. Alas!

Well, that's some encouragement at least.I saw a 70mm print of it at Bradford about ten years ago, and seem to remember that it looked rather good, much better than the dvd's . . . .

I read somewhere that the OCN suffers from vinegar syndrome and has decomposed to some extent. I'd love to discover that's incorrect. Do you know the current situation?Elements decayed?
