Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 and Region 2 anamorphic widescreen (1 Viewer)

I've searched the forum and I can't find the old thread about this. I just purchased the region 2 dvd of "Whistle Down the Wind" and it says it is in 16:9 anamorphic widescreen. I've made this player region 0 and all I get is a full screen picture. Was this one of the problems with this player? I don't remember what was said.

you might have to go in to the acual dvd menu. go to a settings and change pan and same or whatever to widescreen thats just my guess. thats what i had to do to my panasonic.

There is no option on the dvd menu.
