I loved Supercar when I was a kid. First program I can remember watching.

Same here. I thought that the Mike Mercury marionette looked a bit spooky. The kid and the chimpanzee were annoying. Doctor Beaker and Professor Popkiss were great, especially Beaker in the role of comic relief.

Shout seem to reissuing Anderson product previously available from A & E. But they are adding new bonus features . I'm wondering if the commentaries and interviews may come from Network versions in the UK.

Their set of The Saint is also including more than A&E offered.


Looks like Shout maybe the company to look to for the Space 1999 Year 2 Bluray

The original company that released the show on DVD was (IIRC) A&E Video.
