LG has announced its 2022 lineup of TONE Free wireless earbuds, the T90, T60 and TF8 which are slated for sale in September. LG says the top-of-the-range T90 pair are the “world’s first” wireless earbuds to carry Dolby Atmos audio and Dolby head tracking tech. All the new models promise to offer better-fitting designs and new features.
The Meridian Audio-driven T90 earbuds (pictured below) are now using larger drivers and graphene composition for improved bass response and more balanced sound, according to LG. There is also a built-in equalizer to deliver music so it sounds more like a live recording. Dolby’s head tracking technology recalibrates the sound as the listener moves his or her head, creating a feeling of immersion and being at the center of the action (not available on the T60).
