Monoprice Unveils Two Monolith THX Certified In-wall Speakers (1 Viewer)

Monolith by Monoprice has announced the arrival of two new in-wall THX Certified home theater speakers, both available now direct from monoprice.com. The THX‑275IW (THX Select, pictured in header) and the THX-465IW (THX Ultra) are designed for smaller and larger rooms, respectively, and are priced at $349.99 and $699.99.
“Whether it’s for a full-featured home theater room, or an apartment living room, we have Monolith speakers that are sure to provide an optimal home cinema listening experience in rooms of all sizes,” said Hobie Sechrest, Monolith Business Unit Manager, Monoprice.
The new in-walls have been engineered to ensure every seat in the room receives “the best possible” audio experience, according to Monoprice. The smaller THX-275IW includes a high-excursion 6.5-inch woofer, 50mm silk dome midrange driver and 25mm silk dome tweeter. The THX-465IW adds three more high-excursion 6.5-inch woofers for a total of four, with the midrange driver operating in the 750Hz to 3.4kHz...
