Regal and Cinemark agree to play commercials in the middle of movie trailers (1 Viewer)

AMC has had Coke ads built into their final pre-show stinger for years, to the extent that I sometimes forget not everyone has the same. At least it’s a commercial for a product you can buy at the theater and one that some associate with watching a movie. A cell phone commercial or something unrelated like that would somehow seem worse to me.

Going to a Regal today to see Terminator. I'll let you know if they show the commercial.

No extra commercial at Regal tonight. I was in the IMAX theater so I'm not sure if they are just showing them on regular screens or not.

This would seem to only hold up if Cinemark is actually advertising and promoting the number of ounces. Any theater I've ever been to usually just calls them small, medium, and large; or regular and jumbo; or some other non-numerical description.
