Scrooged remains a delightfully manic and funny holiday treat – a take on Dickens’ A Christmas Carol updating and twisting it be fresh and original. Bill Murray is the career driven executive bent on forcing cast and crew to work on Christmas Eve who is subjected to the journey through past, present and future, and the brilliant production design and makeup and practical effect augment the ridiculously good performances and energetic and spirited script. Scrooged easily belongs as a staple of holiday viewing and this 4K is as good as this film has ever looked.
