In a shabby apartment in Moscow, an American journalist asks a retired spy why he betrayed his country and defected to the USSR fifty years ago. The answers take them back to 1932, where in the closed atmosphere of a British boys' school, young Guy Bennett (Rupert Everett, Shakespeare In Love) realizes that his attraction to his classmates is more than a passing phase.

There, in an environment permeated by unquenched desire and utter denial in the wake of a gay classmate's suicide, Bennett falls desperately in love with fellow student James Harcourt (Cary Elwes, The Crush) ... and is introduced to Marxism by his most loyal friend, Tommy (Colin Firth, Kingsman: The Secret Service).

Since there's no mention of a fresh scan and the release is limited to 1500 copies - isn't it likely that this is the same scan that was used for the DVD? From 2004? The same nonsense Shout pulled with their blu ray of Brotherhood of the Wolf that they released in 2021 - where they used a really dated, old scan of that film.
