It's the second series Justin Halpern has made about his family (after "Shit My Dad Says" on CBS), and by far the more successful of the two.The show isn't full jiving for me, but Christopher Meloni is absolutely phenomenal as the father. He is a blunt man, firm in his opinions and uneasy with his own feelings toward his children. But ultimately, at the end of the day, he does the right thing.I feel like Rachael Harris has been playing iterations of her character for years. The kids are decent enough, with the son's delinquent friend as a particular standout.
