This might be the wrong side of the forum to discuss this, but at this moment youtube has the anaglyphic version of the 1953 Jane Russell 3D classic, The french line. So take advantage of it before someone pulls it out of youtube. The only problem is that it uses a little too much green in the anaglyph, but that's it.

The 2D version of The French Line that TCM occasionally shows is almost unwatchable. I think the extremely poor quality of that 2D transfer is one reason that movie doesn't get many showings there. It looks horrible.

The anaglyph 3D works well as the color has been turned down to almost black and white.

Well, the problem is that the color print is very light with some parts a bit washed out. Then they use muddy heavy green color in the anaglyph, which made all the tones greenish, than a regular anaglyph red with blu, which keeps the tints tones less distorted, color code a bit more perfect . The weakness of the color print causes the tones to look more black and white in the 3d. Cyberlink 12- 19 blu -ray app is guilty of using excessive muddy green when it comes to anaglyph conversions. Corel win DVD it's more balanced anaglyph color filters. Today the french line disappeared out of youtube
