That Amazon link is all messed up. The MSRP on Arrow's own site is $39.95, not the 99.95 that Amazon is listing.$40.00. No wonder some people wait for sales.
”Typical price” $100.$40.00. No wonder some people wait for sales.
No, Amazon has screwed up the pricing of this release. All of the other retailers are showing a much lower discounted price.”Typical price” $100.
At $40, the up-charge is to cover extras, all of which come with production costs. Without extras, this disc could be $30.
Hoping for a great image of this Oscar nominated work by Conrad L. Hall. The Arrow brand makes it promising and I have pre-ordered.”Typical price” $100.

Amazon has dropped the sale price down to $26.29 as it has been discounted by 34%.Amazon has corrected the MSRP to $39.99. I expect the sale price will be discounted 30-35% off which will make the final sale price $28.00 or less.

Having seen the film opening week inn 1975 in a first run theatre, Day Of The Locust was always a soft looking film.Have the Blu-ray and did a a/b comparison to the awful Imprint release and there is a slight improvement in detail and brighter looking colors but i guess the overall softness is due to the way the film was shot.
