I see that Columbia MOD well be releasing Bell Book And Candle on Blu-ray . Likewise Universal MOD will be releasing Kitten With A whip on Blu-ray . Does anyone know if Columbia , and Universal will be selling "factory pressed "
blu-rays , or recordables? They seem to be selling in the $25 to $30 range on Amazon .
While I'm on the subject , when you buy a Warner Brothers Archive Blu-ray from Amazon, is it a recordable or pressed disc . They were pressed , I'm just wondering if they still are ?

100% of Sony MOD for 18 months and Universal MOD over the last 2+ yrs (since the Choice Line was d/c) are just like Warner Archives are normal replicated discs are are released via Allied Vaughn.

Good news . I'll be pre ordering the 2 I mentioned plus about 4 or 5 WBA titles this week.

I would suggest checking other sites for prices.

Bullmoose.com often has excellent preorder prices on Warner Archive items though not quite as predictable for the Sony and Universal.

Amazon has severe difficulty delivering any of the Allied Vaughn product on item and often is weeks+ late.
WBShop is far more reliable, but very expensive since they tend to charge full price, shipping (up to $100) and sales tax

The MOD lines don't often have sales, but there are occasional windows -- WBSHop 4/44 WAC, BN 40% off sales, Deep Discount occasional deals + coupons (more often on WAC, less on Universal, and rarely Sony).
