ViewSonic introduces high brightness home cinema projectors (1 Viewer)

ViewSonic has launched the X1 and X2 high brightness 1080p LED projectors for home cinema use. The new beamers, which promise to offer flexible options for installation, feature 3rd generation LED technology with a claimed 30,000-hour lifespan. They also include Harman Kardon speakers for optimized audio.
“As an innovator and leader in LED technology, we are elevating the home entertainment experience with our new LED projector solutions. With enhanced brightness of 3,100 LED Lumens, the X1 and X2 not only deliver brighter and clearer images in any environment but offer more eco-friendliness compared to lamp-based projectors,” said Dean Tsai, General Manager of Projector & LED Display Business Unit at ViewSonic. “Without complicated installation and setup required, these projectors offer immersive audiovisuals on a big screen at any time.”

Just lumens associated with an LED source? Lumens are a standard measurement of light regardless of whether the source is incandescent, fluorescent, or LED (to name a few examples.)

Would a lumen by any other bulb seem as bright?
