The Lone Ranger
The Lone Ranger Peace Patrol (1958)

This film features Clayton Moore, in his Lone Ranger character, speaking about the Peace Patrol, a U.S. Savings Stamp and Bond program he helmed. After an introduction by Moore, the footage follows the Lone Ranger to Washington, D.C. where he is shown as he met the Director of the Savings Bond Division James F. Stiles and later (in photographs) with Vice President Richard Nixon and Postmaster General Arthur Summerfield. Other scenes show the Lone Ranger at the National Institute of Health, the Capitol, and at a Peace Patrol rally at the Washington Monument where he spoke to the crowd and performed gun handling tricks.

As part of the Syndication Generation, my childhood was filled with the repackaging of 60's cartoons, put under an umbrella show and stripped daily.

I would watch this every day and wait for the Fantastic Four cartoon. Mostly I would wind up with The Impossibles, Frankenstein Junior or Shazzan!

Here is a generic promo for Hart to Hart from its two seasons w/Columbia Pictures Television (Rona II and Spelling-Goldberg being in association with them from 1982-84, the last of the run); it has the CPT 80s Torch Lady at the bottom left, albeit without the Coke byline of then.

Also, here is a music mix of Hart to Hart then called "The Freeway Mix"; it had this generic promo as a splash screen:

The Junior Astronaut - U.S. Savings Stamps and Bonds
Dennis the Menace

This film contains a promotion for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA's) Junior Astronaut campaign to sell U.S. Savings Stamps and Bonds. In it, children were encouraged to join the campaign with a purchase of stamps or bonds, which would confer on them the status of junior astronaut and enable them to receive a certificate with the signatures of some of the Project Gemini astronauts. The promotion then had Jay North (in his role as "Dennis the Menace" from the television show of the same name) and Gail Gordon ("Mr. Wilson") enact a scenario in which Mr. Wilson's mission control role enabled him to shoot astronaut Dennis into outer space. In addition, the promotion includes NASA background information with footage of Scott Carpenter and the Aurora 7 mission. Also included are animated sequences showing the mission of the next day's Project Gemini blastoff from Houston and brief shots of the astronauts who were to participate in the mission.

An Italian trailer for the Gerry Anderson UFO series. Thanks to fine editing and the great John Barry music from "From Russia With Love" (Bond Takes the Lektor), this trailer makes the show a lot more thrilling and action packed than it was.
