Crunch and Des are amiable partners in a sailfish sport-fishing operation. Lots of sailfish hooked up-action and humorous interaction with their customers.

While on a fishing trip, Crunch and Des, his daughter, boyfriend and an Admiral are taken hostage by smugglers. A box of dynamite which happens to be aboard may afford them a means of escape. The Admiral takes charge with a covert operation. An action packed and suspenseful television show. Transferred from 16mm b-w film. (Moviecraft Inc.)

Raven and Burke work the entertainment venues on Hollywood's Sunset Strip, often mixing it up with guest stars playing themselves, often aided by magazine photographer Levitt.

Sales Reel (1960)
Cast & Crew 13-Episode List

Sales pitch for NBC series, Fall 1960. "Dan Raven" was an hour-long detective drama series. It was on NBC Friday nights at 7:30 eastern during the first half of the 1960-61 season. "Dan Raven" was produced by Screen Gems, the TV arm of Columbia. Thirty-year old Skip Homeier played Lieutenant Dan Raven, who worked out of the Hollywood sheriff's office. Raven worked the night beat, as suited his name. Raven never ran into "77 Sunset Strip" private eyes Stu Bailey or Jeff Spencer, who must have been working cases near by.

Two young women try to make it in Hollywood, one as an actress, the other as a stuntwoman. Beautiful Virginia Gibson is Kim Tracey, and aspiring actress, waiting for the phone call with a big part. Mitzi Green is Queenie Dugan, looking for her break as a stunt woman. A lovable actor and neighbor of the girls from the early days of Hollywood (guest star Victor Moore) dusts off some "connections" to help Kim get a part.

A washed-up actor from the days of silent films lives next door to the girls. He tries to use an old connection to get Kim a gig. A Network print with all commercials intact, including Pamper Shampoo, Toni Home Permanent, and a cast commercial for Deep Magic facial cleansing lotion. Transferred from 16mm b-w film. Moviecraft Inc.

Mitzi Green played Becky Thatcher in the first sound versions of Tom Sawyer (1930) and Huckleberry Finn (1931) made by Paramount. Also was in Lost In Alaska with Abbott & Costello in 1952.

The misadventures of a group of deceased souls who are relegated to the Heavenly Crisis and Conscience Center, a layover stop between Heaven and Earth where they must remain until they earn blessedness by performing good deeds among the living. The pilot episode tells the story of Dave Leland, an auto accident victim who is given a chance to earn his wings by aiding a young woman who is contemplating suicide.

Neal, about Winning the West-Battle of Adobe Wells series unsold pilot (?)....wasn't 'Flying A Productions' the company that produced the earlier Sky King? And I see Arnold Laven directed, soon to produce The Rifleman with his partners Levy and Gardner. And of course Scott Brady soon starred in the unique Jazz two season Western series for Revue, Shotgun Slade. Nice also to see another early Paul Brinegar appearance before Rawhide. Dependable Carl Benton Reid always seemed to play the same archetype. And Lovely Cathy O'Donnell excelled in sensitive and vulnerable roles in many TV shows and movies. Great find, and I just subscribed to that YT channel! Great find on that Buster Crabbe 'Davey Jones' unsold pilot too!

Thanks for posting. Jonathan Harris talks the same way as when he played Dr. Zachary Smith on Lost In Space.
I have always maintained that when Jonathan Harris started to take the character of Smith into its more comical version, he was slipping back into the mode he'd been in on the Bill Dana Show because the style of delivery, the insulting put-downs and even the occasional weepy moment, all can be found on the Dana Show. He wasn't so much inventing a new character in the comical Smith, he was injecting all the things he'd been doing on the Dana Show into Smith's character to make him comical.

One of two pilots that failed; later, the show became "My World and Welcome to It", which lasted one season.
Sheldon Leonard resurrected Mel Shavelson's concept (as seen in the first pilot attempt, "THE SECRET LIFE OF JOHN MONROE"), and produced it for the 1969-'70 season. Thurber lived to see it- but couldn't see anything, as he was legally blind during the last years of his life. He died on November 2, 1961. (Barry I. Grauman )

Re-edited version of the Secret Life of James Thurber Unsold Pilot. A cartoonist finds it impossible to concentrate on his next commission either at the family home in the country or in the chaos of the city.

Does anybody remember "Detective in the House" from 1985 with Judd Hirsch? It only lasted about 6 episodes, but I didn't think it was that bad. It starred Judd as the "detective" in the family while his wife had the job which supported the family. Anything with Mr. Hirsch in it, can't be too bad. Can't find any clips on youtube.

The anthology series dramatized the lives of clergymen of all faiths and the problems they faced in both their professional and personal lives.

Connie Willis, a young bride whose husband is away on military duty, is blackmailed by an old acquaintance to help him commit a robbery. She turns for guidance to the president of the Bible college she had attended. The college president and his secretary take action to help the young bride escape the dilemma.

From their earth headquarters on Zero Zero Island, Colonel Bleep, Squeek and Scratch battle intergalactic villains such as Doctor Destructo, the master criminal of the universe, The Black Knight, and Captain Patch, a displaced pirate.

This was a B&W Demo Reel to sell the show to TV Stations in 1956.
