It's a great, engrossing and surprising film! I wnt in expecting purse escapism and was pleasantly surprised and compelled! See it on the biggest screen possible as the cinematography and set piece/anchoring scenes all look great.

And given its performance in the US, it's pretty much certain there will be an American edition from somebody.

I wouldn't even bet against that somebody being Criterion.

Why the hyperbole? Criterion's Blu-ray releases typically have an MSRP of $39.95 and their 4K discs $49.95, but sell for less than that every day. Nowhere near $100, and if you wait for one of their (or B&N's) 50% off sales they're even less.
