It could be hit and miss, but as a general rule points don't get rewarded unless it is a digital purchase.

I think Universal has changed how they award points over time so it could depend on when the disc was released. I think there was a phase when there was a separate code on the back of the digital code sheet for points. Then they went with receipt upload. But recently they have made it so a code redemption also grants points. I recall that getting points for the Mario movie was fairly easy, but I can't remember the exact method.

I guess the FWIW or YMMV post -- the Dec 18 CODE " FROST " was coming up already redeemed for everyone so far.

It was a code back in 2018, but even people who were DMR members are getting the error message.

Apparently they couldn't reactivate the old code so they changed so the correct code is now

Sorry to dash your hopes, but I just entered BYE2023 and it is not worth extra. It generated 5 points as all the other free codes this month have done.

A year or two ago I vaguely remember the Friday codes were worth 15 to cover for the weekend. I guess Disney is in a less generous mood this year.

That is correct - up until this year those Friday codes *were* 15 points each since there were no weekend codes. When I entered the first Friday code this year I was surprised it was only 5 points.
