This is being released 35 days after the standalone release of Top Gun: Maverick and a more basic keepcase double set of the two films.

Anyone who would describe themselves as a "super fan" of Top Gun probably already has the original film. And they're being asked to wait even longer to get the new one as part of this set? Even though the new movie already has the longest digital-to-physical release date lag in recent memory.

No, thanks. I'll just keep my existing order of Maverick and get it on November 1.
