Leigh Whannell, director of The Invisible Man, in talks to take on the next Blumhouse/Universal remake, Wolfman, with Ryan Gosling.

Not sure what that means for the screenplay as the article says Whannell will now write the story treatment, though a prior article linked in the post above says the script was already written by two others, and was based on a pitch from Gosling.

Back February 2020, right before theaters were shut down due to COVID, Leigh Whannell’s “The Invisible Man,” starring Elisabeth Moss, was released in theaters to much acclaim and commercial success.

I'm not quite sure where they'd go with a sequel. Hopefully they don't try and resurrect Adrian. Maybe Cecelia will use the technology to avenge other abused women?

But I really liked this film and if Whannell is involved again, will try and keep an open mind.
